The Path of a Pendemic

Happily, Mexico has shown the world how a responsible nation can
respond to a potential pandemic. By moving swiftly to shut down
schools, entertainment and places of social congregation, Mexico—an
already beleaguered economy—is facing dire financial consequences. But
its dramatic actions may be saving Mexican lives, and slowing down the
outbreak of 2009. In that sense, the world owes Mexico a big gracias.
